Zodelo was born from a story of love, resilience, and innovation.
In 1998, our founder, Mr. Ni Jinxi, became a urostomy user after bladder cancer surgery. Struggling with severe skin reactions caused by adhesive pouches, he experienced pain, infections, and even repeated surgeries. Determined to find a better way, he began developing non-adhesive ostomy products.
In 2000, the first generation of Zodelo non-adhesive pouches was created, and the brand was officially founded in Zhengzhou, China. What started as one man’s solution soon grew into a mission to improve the lives of people living with a stoma.
Over the years, Zodelo expanded from non-adhesive to adhesive ostomy product lines, continuously introducing user-inspired innovations—such as our patented cleaning vent system in 2022, which solved the long-standing issue of ballooning.
In 2024, we launched multiple series from entry-level to premium, covering a full range of hydrocolloid and silicone solutions to meet diverse needs.
Though Mr. Ni passed away in 2023, his vision lives on. Today, the Zodelo team remains true to his spirit—designing with empathy, advancing technology, and helping people with a stoma live comfortably, confidently, and with dignity.
